Our Management Courses

IIM-Indore is the first among all the IIMs to introduce a five year integrated program in Management (IPM). The broad design of the program includes management education in social science setting.

The program is divided into 3 modules:

Admission is strictly on merit-basis – through written test (English, Elementary Mathematics, Logical Reasoning & General Awareness) followed by Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Micro Presentation and Written Ability Test (WAT).

  • • 1st Module (40% of the program): Focuses on subjects related to Mathematics / Computer Science / Political Science / Foreign Language.
  • • 2nd Module (50% of the program): Focuses on functional areas of management like Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics.
  • • 3rd Module (10% of the program): Focuses on international exposure and internship in various social organization in India.


Selection of Candidates is based on:
  • • Their performance in Secondary and Higher Secondary Examination or SAT-1 score.
  • • Final selection is based on academic performance, scholastic achievement and the performance in the Aptitude Test (AT), followed by Personal Interview (PI) and WAT
  • • The final Merit List is prepared with a weightage of 50% for the Aptitude Test (AT), 35% for the Personal Interview (PI) and 15% for the Written Ability Test (WAT).

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) is a three-year fulltime course that gives an individual a professional edge rather than making him/her a mere ‘degree holder’. This course takes into account the needs of the industry where the students would ultimately find employment and therefore, has a completely different approach to learning.


Admission is strictly on merit-basis – through written test (English, Elementary Mathematics, Logical Reasoning & General Awareness) followed by Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Micro Presentation and Written Ability Test (WAT).

The Bachelor Programme varies from a duration of three to four years. It is a program designed to cater to the needs of the hotel industry which has grown by leaps and bounds in the past decade.


Most Important Test for HM is NCHMCT-JEE which consists of Numerical Ability Scientific Aptitude (30 questions).

Delhi University conducts DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test) Annually for short listing candidates for admission to the undergraduate management programmes at Delhi University affiliated B-Schools. This is a two hour only (Computer-Based) exam which is conducted across 18 cities in India for admission to six stipulated colleges which offer Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS); Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis (BFIA) and Bachelor of Business Economics (BBE). The total intake is BMS-599; BFIA-136; BBE-483 students. The test is organized in the fourth week of June and the result is declared in the first week of July..


DU JAT consists of 100 questions. The test is designed to test one’s aptitude in the areas of Basic Language Comprehension, Numerical Ability General and Business Awareness and Reasoning ability. Students are shortlisted on the basis of their 12th Board Marks and DU JAT score. Those who clear the cut-off are called for GD/PI.

Journalism / Mass Communication is concerned with collection and dissemination of news through the print media as well as electronic media. Journalism is classified into two on the basis of media- (i) Print Journalism and (ii) Electronic (Audio/Visual) Journalism. Print Journalism includes newspapers, magazines and journals. In print journalism one can work as editor, reporter, columnist, correspondent etc. Electronic Journalism includes working for Radio, Television and the Web. Career in journalism/mass communication is a prestigious profession as well as a highly paid one. Journalist play a major role in the development of nation. It is through them that we get information about daily happenings in the society. The purpose of journalism itself is to inform and to interpret, educate and enlighten the people. Journalists specialise in diverse areas,such as politics, finance and economics, investigation, culture and sports for newspapers and periodicals.


Selection is based on General Aptitude Test consisting of English, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and General Knowledge followed by GD,PI and Micro Presentation.
