CLAT 2020: Latest Update on Result and Counselling

As per the latest update on Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 which was conducted by The Consortium of NLUs. And now as per news,its result is all set to release on 5 October 2020 and the applicants can verify the CLAT Result by entering the mobile number and password on the official website. Along with the results, the officials will announce the cutoff marks too and the cut-off scores will vary for the different categories of the individuals. Applicants who will score the minimum marks are only eligible to get the admission via CLAT 2020.

CLAT 2020 Counselling

And just after releasing the result of CLAT, the Consortium of NLUs will start the registration process for counselling and applicants have to complete the registration process by the due date. The authority will invite applicants equivalent to 3 times the number of available seats in each category for counselling. Applicants who receive counselling call letters or invitation letters will have to get registered, pay the counselling fee, select NLUs in the order of preference, and pay the counselling and admission fee. And also the counselling process will be conducted completely in online mode.

CLAT Counselling Procedure 2020

The admission to the qualified students shall be given through the centralized counselling conducted by the authorized authority and this counselling basically aims at imparting the final admission to the shortlisted applicants. It is conducted separately for UG and PG programs. The step-wise procedure for final admissions to the 21 NLUs via CLAT as follows:

1st Step- Publication of 1st indicative list

2nd Step- Counselling fee payment and option available to exercise by provisionally selected applicants

3rd Step- Publication of 2nd list having the names of finalized applicants after payment of counselling fee and additional wait-listed applicants

4th Step- Publication of 3rd list allotting seats to applicants

5th Step- Completion of admission formalities at the allotted NLUs
